ABCollege hosts Mikrotik Certified Academy Training (MCAT) Course

MikroTik Academy has partnered with Andres Bonifacio College (ABCollege) for a training in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from November 23 to November 28, 2019 held at Graduate and Professional Schools (GPS) audio-visual room here in Dipolog City.

MikroTik Academy is a Latvian company which aims to develop routers and ISP systems to provide hardware and software for internet connectivity in most countries around the world. The said company invited Region IX’s PSITE members to attend a six (6) -day rigid training alongside the representatives from Saint Vincent’s College, Click IT Solutions, Dipolog City Technology, ALCOM Computer Solutions, University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) – Oroquieta City and Panaon campuses in Misamis Occidental, as well as the Jasaan campus in Misamis Oriental, for MikroTik Certified Academy Training (MCAT) Course. The lectures in the said training were conducted by Engr. Roy L. Pamitalan, a MikroTik Trainer.

As a host institution, ABCollege was given five (5) slots for the training. The training included the following: enrollment for the MikroTik MCNA, MTCRE, and MTCUME Program/Certificate of Course Completion, training materials, International IT Certification Exam for MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MCRE), MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCUME), three (3) Level IV Router0S license worth USD 45 each, and two (2) MikroTik t-shirts and one (1) Official MikroTik Academy Trainer’s polo shirt.

As a Milrotik Academy, it will allow ABCollege to offer the MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) Course and other certification exams to its students for free.

Moreover, the said activity was designed to open opportunities for PSITE members to be globally competitive in the field of ICT. (By: Ma. Zeara C. Castolo, Faith Marie L. Enero, Emmerson O.
